Does Ultherapy hurt?+
Expect short bursts of deep heat and a tickling or bone-level ache, strongest near the jaw and cheekbone. Many clinics offer numbing cream, and some offer oral pain relief on request. Tell the practitioner straight away if it is more than you want, because energy can be adjusted.
When do I see results, and how long do they stay?+
Collagen builds slowly. Most people notice a gentle change after a couple of months, with the best effect at around three to six months. A lot of patients return after a year or so, but how long it lasts depends on your age, skin and lifestyle.
Can I go back to work the same day?+
Usually yes. Some redness or tenderness along the jaw is common for a day or two. A few people feel a tightness or have small bumps that settle within days. It is a good idea to avoid very hot saunas and intense sun for a short while afterwards.
